NEWS: June 2026 Important Information: Change to Our Clinical Computer System

Our practice will be changing to a New Clinical IT System between 15th June - 23rd June 2026. We ask all patients to read this information carefully.

Key Dates

  • 15th June at 6pm - Our current online prescription ordering service will stop. Please continue to use this method for ordering until this date.
  • 18th June - Our current online Triage booking system will stop.
  • 19th - 23rd June - System Downtime - Limited or no access to clinical system, during this period we cannot process repeat prescription requests, or offer Routine, non-urgent appointments.  We will only be able to provide urgent and emergency care.
  • 23rd June - Go Live - New clinical system goes live
  • Post Go-live - Patients who currently use online services will need to register for a new online account (Patient Access)
  • You do NOT need to contact us to register - We will contact patients via email after go-live with Registration details and guidance on accessing your new onine account.

Repeat Prescriptions - Please order early using our current patient services this remains available until 15t June at 6pm. Or leave your request at reception - We are asking all patients who receive repeat medication - if you are likely to be due your medication during the switchover period Please order now or as soon as possible .

Emergency Medication supply In exceptional circumstances, community pharmacies may be able to provide an emergency supply of medication. Please be aware that strict eligibility criteria apply. For this reason please ensure you have enough medication to last over the switchover period.

After 18th June -Temporary Prescription ordering methods until you have your new online account up and running, Repeat prescriptions can be requested:

• Via Our Website: Go to the prescriptions tab - select repeat prescriptions

• Or leave a written request at reception

This will be much more time consuming for the Practice so please order early if possible as per the above.

Appointments after Go-Live 23rd June

In the period immediately following our go-live date, we will be undergoing further training and familiarisation, appointments will be available. However, initially these will be primarily urgent/emergency only appointments. “Routine Appointments” will be phased back in, as we get up to speed with our new system.
