FLU vaccine- if you are aged over 50 or if you have an underlying medical condition and would like the flu jab, please contact us at the email above.
Due to the current pandemic the Practice has changed the way it works, in line with Public health Guidance in NI.
These changes have been necessary, in order to minimise risk of COVID to both patients and staff, but also to help the practice deal more efficiently with the large increase in demand for GP services.
WE WANT TO REASSURE PATIENTS THAT WE ARE WORKING HARDER THAN EVER TO ENSURE THAT PATIENTS RECEIVE APPROPRIATE CARE AND ADVICE, AS SAFELY AND AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
Patients are able to have a face to face consultation following an initial telephone consultation if this is required at our Cregagh or Belvoir surgeries.
We are keeping the situation, our response, and our delivery of services under constant review.
WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR YOUR CONTINUED APPRECIATION AND UNDERSTANDING.
NEED MEDICAL ADVICE?
Patients requiring medical advice should contact the surgery by telephone in the first instance.
Our receptionists will ask you some questions, in order to assess the urgency of the problem, but also to help direct your query to the most appropriate clinician, which may include a GP, Advanced nurse practitioner or clinical pharmacist. This allows the practice to help more patients to quickly get the advice they need.
We will be able to offer clinical advice remotely via telephone or Video consultation. If deemed clinically appropriate, patients will then be invited for a face-to-face consultation with a clinician.
- THE RECEPTIONIST MAY SUGGEST, ALTERNATIVE WAYS OF RESOLVING A QUERY, FOR EXAMPLE A CONSULTATION WITH ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE PRACTICE TEAM (EG DIABETIC NURSE TO DEAL WITH DIABETIC QUERIES).
PATIENTS WITH COVID SYMPTOMS
if you are feeling unwell and need medical advice please contact the surgery by telephone so that we can arrange a clinical consultation.
